THE GUNTUR COOPERATIVE URBAN BANK LIMITED, is premiere Co operative bank in state of Andhra Pradesh. It is having 17 branches. 7 Branches in Guntur city (Brodipet, Pattabhipuram,Kothapet, Chandramouli nagar, R.Agraharam,Old Guntur, Gorantla), 3 branches in other towns in Guntur District (Ponnur, Tenali, Mangalagiri) 3 in Palnadu District (Sattenapalli, Chilakaluripet, Narasaraopet,)  2 in Krishna district (Gollapudi, Machilipatnam) & 2 in Prakasam District (Ongole, Markapuram), 

The bank had its origin in the year 1947. Started as Cooperative Society in the name of “Produce Consumers Co-operative Society”Later the Co-operative Society was registered under Madras Co-operative Societies Act, 1932 and converted as Urban Bank in 1949.Bank started functioning under AP Mutually Aided Co-operative Societies Act 1995 since 6th November 1998. Bank’s Head Office is located at its own premises at D.NO.5-25-26, 3/2 Brodipet Guntur -522002.

It started with one branch at Brodipet in 1949. Bank expanded its operations by opening branches in Guntur district during the period 1999-2017 and the number of branches increased to 17. In the year 2024, Bank expanded by opening branches at Markapuram in Prakasam District and Machilipatnam in Krishna District and Old Guntur in Guntur City.

As on 31st March 2025 Bank Business Rs.869.26 crores.

Bank implemented core banking operations (CBS) software to enable the customers to transact from any of the branches of the bank.
